IPL: Kishan's storm after Bumrah-Bolt strike, Mumbai crushes Delhi

With the help of Ishant Kishan's tumultuous half-century after a whirlwind bowling by Trent Bolt and Jaspreet Bumrah, Mumbai Indians recorded a stunning nine-wicket win over Delhi Capitals in a match played in Dubai on Saturday. With this victory, Mumbai Indians remain at the top of the points table in the 13th season of the IPL T20 cricket tournament. While the Delhi Capitals' playoff hopes are still alive. Mumbai won the toss and elected to bat first. However, Delhi's batting was disappointing and they set an easy target of 111 against Mumbai. Which made it easier for Ishaan Kish. With the help of his half-century, Mumbai won the match by losing one wicket in 14.2 overs. Earlier, Delhi scored 110 for nine in 20 overs.

Ishaan Kishan's smashing half-century helped Mumbai opener Ishan Kishan bat for a tumultuous 111-run target. He shared a 68-run partnership with fellow opener Quinton Decock. Decock was dismissed for 26 off 28 balls with two fours. While Ishaan Kishan was unbeaten till the end. He washed the bowlers of Delhi. Ishant Kish played an unbeaten innings of 72 off 47 balls. Which included eight fours and three sixes. In addition, Suryakumar Yadav scored 12 off 11 balls with a four and remained unbeaten. The only wicket for Delhi was Enrich Nortje fast.

Delhi on its knees against the whirlwind of Bumrah and Bolt
Earlier, Mumbai captain Kieron Pollard won the toss and invited Delhi to bat first. However, Delhi's batting was very disappointing. The Delhi batsmen were seen helpless against fast bowlers Trent Bolt and Jaspreet Bumrah. They failed to cope with the stormy bowling of these two. After a poor start, Delhi lost wickets at regular intervals which prevented them from scoring big.

For Delhi, captain Shreyas Aiyar top-scored with 25 while Rishabh Pant contributed 21 runs. Apart from this, Prithvi Shaw contributed 10 and Shimron Hetmeyer 11 and Ashwin 12 runs. Shikhar Dhawan, who is playing in superb form, could not even open an account. For Mumbai, Trent Bolt took three wickets for 21 runs in four overs while Jaspreet Bumrah also took three wickets for 17 runs in four overs. In addition, Coulter-Nile and Rahul Chahar had one success each.
