Government warning: Corona is not gone yet, three states are heading towards the third peak

New Delhi:
Corona virus infection is on the decline in India, but the government has advised people not to be careless during festivals. The magnitude of the Corona threat can be gauged from the fact that some Indian states are now moving towards a third wave of transition. Kerala, West Bengal and Delhi are heading towards the third peak of the Corona transition, Policy Commission member VK Pol said in a press conference on Tuesday.

"Corona epidemic in India is 'declining and under control'," Pale said, but warned that "we must not be careless, we must be vigilant." "Kerala, West Bengal and Delhi are moving towards the third peak, which is a matter of concern," he said. "If the precautions to stop Corona are not followed properly, there could be bigger challenges in the coming days," Pale said. He appealed to all to wear masks, adhere to social distance and continue to clean hands.

Meanwhile, the health ministry said in its regular press conference on Tuesday that there was an increase in cases of Kovid-19 in Kerala, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Delhi during the festive season. Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said, "It is important to wear a mask, wash your hands regularly and keep your distance from each other. We have noticed that during the festive season, cases of transition have increased in Kerala, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Delhi and hence it is more important to follow these rules.

Bhushan said that in the last two hours, 58 per cent of deaths in the country from Kovid-19 have come from Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka. He said 49.4 per cent of the new cases of coronavirus infection during the period were from Kerala (4,287), West Bengal (4,121), Maharashtra (3,645), Karnataka (3,130) and Delhi (2,832).

"We are in touch with these states," Bhushan said. We have sent our teams to these states. Some teams are coming later, while others are still in the states. After their report is submitted, we will talk to the states again and tell them what changes should be made in the strategy to deal with Covid-19 if necessary. "We have talked to Kerala, West Bengal and Delhi a day ago and we will talk to Maharashtra this week and work out a strategy," he said.

Bhushan said Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka accounted for 8. per cent of the country's total Kovid 019 cases, while 10 states and Union Territories accounted for 78 per cent of the country's total cases.
