First VVIP Air India aircraft arrives in India for President and Prime Minister

New Delhi:
The wait for the VVIP Air India aircraft to protect the President, Prime Minister and Vice President of India is over now. One of the two VVIP aircraft Air India One reached India from the US on Thursday. Top officials received the aircraft at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on Thursday evening.

Two Boeing-777-300ER aircraft purchased for the President and Prime Minister of India are ready. These two new aircraft to India will be used to fly the Prime Minister, President and Vice President, which will be flown by Air Force pilots. The two Boeing-777-300ER aircraft purchased for the President and Prime Minister of the world's largest democracy are equipped with the Advanced Communication System, which allows audio and video communication function in mid-air without being hacked.

The specialty of Air India One is that the aircraft looks completely white from outside and has three stripes depicting the tricolor. India and India are written on the plane. At the same time, the tricolor is made on its tail. The sensors in the aircraft's warning system help the pilot to attack the missiles.

The Boeing 747 requires fuel after a 10-hour flight. At the same time Air India One can fly continuously for 17 hours after refueling. In such a long journey, he will not need fuel in between. It also has air refueling facilities. Apart from these, electronic warfare jammers have been installed, which works to block the enemy's GPS and drone signals.

The aircraft is equipped with modern and fully secure communication systems that facilitate audio and video communication. It can neither be hacked nor can it be tapped. The aircraft's self-protection suite can jam the enemy's radar frequencies, detecting the heat and damaging the chasing missiles. All this can be done without any human intervention. The aircraft has twin GE90-115s. It can fly at a speed of 900 kilometers per hour.

To make the visits of the President, Vice President and Prime Minister more secure and comfortable, the government had signed a deal with American aircraft company Boeing to produce two Boeing 777-300ER aircraft at a cost of Rs 8,458 crore. The aircraft will take on the Airforce One (Boeing 747-200B) used by US President Donald Trump. The second aircraft is expected to reach India by the end of the year.
