New Delhi: On one hand, while the number of corona infections in India is increasing, on the other hand there is a continuous decrease in total active cases. At present, the total number of active cases in the country is 9,07,883. The figure was 9,19,023 yesterday.
The total recovery cases in India are 57,44,694. The gap between recovery cases and active cases has crossed 47 lakhs. With the increasing number of recoveries, this gap is widening.
Due to the large number of recoveries, the national recovery rate has improved further and has gone up to 84.70 percent more. 82,203 patients have been recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours whereas new confirmed cases are 72,049.
In 25 states and union territories, the new recovery has been more than the confirmed cases. Of the new recovery cases, 74 per cent are concentrated in 10 states and union territories Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Delhi, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal.
In the last 24 hours 72,049 new confirmed cases have been reported. Of the new cases, 75 percent are from 10 states and union territories. There have been 986 deaths in the last 24 hours. About 80 percent of these deaths are concentrated in ten states and union territories like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh.
