With this, the total number of infected in the country has increased to 79,90,322. The total figure has increased to 1,20,010 with 508 deaths. In the last 24 hours, 58,439 patients were discharged from the hospital. So far 72,59,509 have been cured. The number of active cases has come down to 6,10,803.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 110,54,87,680 sample tests for corona virus were conducted in the country till October 27, out of which 10,66,786 samples were tested yesterday.
Maharashtra has been affected the most by corona virus in India. It is the state that has the most active cases. Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh have the most active cases after Maharashtra. India has the second highest number of active cases in the world. Currently, the death rate of corona in the country is 1.5 percent while the recovery rate is 90.62 percent.
On the other hand, America is the country which has been most affected by the Corona virus. A total of 8,777,038 have now been infected in the US. At the same time 226,673 people have died. The number of infected in India has reached 7,990,322. So far 120,010 people have lost their lives.
Brazil is the third country in the world which has been affected more than Corona. A total of 5,439,641 people have been infected here. 157,946 people have died. There are 1,537,142 infected in Russia. 26,409 people have died. In France, 1,244,242 were infected while 35,582 died.
