New Delhi: New cases of corona virus continue to decline in India. On Thursday, again, less than 50,000 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. On Tuesday, less than 37 thousand new cases were reported in the country after several months.
In the last 24 hours, about 50 thousand new cases have been reported in the country. At the same time, more than 56 thousand patients have been cured. 517 more people have died. According to the data released on Thursday by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 49,881 new cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total number of infected in the country has increased to 80,40,203. The total figure has risen to 1,20,527 with 517 deaths. 56,480 patients were discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. 73,15,989 have been cured so far. The number of active cases has come down to 6,03,687.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 10,65,63,440 sample tests for corona virus were conducted in the country till October 28, out of which 10,75,760 samples were tested yesterday.
Maharashtra has been the most affected by the corona virus in India. It is the state that has the most active cases. Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh have the most active cases after Maharashtra. India has the second highest number of active cases in the world. Currently, the death rate of corona in the country is 1.5 percent while the recovery rate is more than 90.62 percent.
On the other hand, America is the country which has been most affected by the Corona virus. A total of 8,855,182 have been infected in the US now. At the same time 227,673 people have died. The number of infected in India has increased to 8,040,203. So far 120,527 people have lost their lives.
Brazil is the third country in the world which has been affected more than Corona. A total of 5,468,270 people have been infected here. 158,456 people have died. There are 1,553,028 infected in Russia. 26,752 people have died. In France 1,280,215 were infected while 35,823 died.
