Chennai: Famous South Indian films actress and Congress spokesperson Khushboo Sundar has resigned from the Congress. In a letter to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi, Khushboo Sundar has accused the people of the party of pressuring them on a large scale. The famous Tamil actress joined the Congress in 2014. She was in the DMK before joining the Congress.
It is now being said that she will join the BJP soon. Meanwhile, she left for Delhi on Sunday. She said that she does not want to comment on it. When asked if he was still in Congress, he said, "I don't want to say anything". In his resignation, Khushboo Sundar said that some people sitting on big posts have no affiliation with the grassroots or they do not know what is the real position of the party.
Khushboo Sundar also entered politics in 2010. He actively started his political career by joining the DMK party in 2010. The DMK was in power then. Four years later, Khushboo Sundar left the DMK and joined the Congress. She joined the Congress in 2014 after meeting Sonia Gandhi.
Then in a statement he said, I think I am in my house. The Congress is the only party that can do good for the people of India and unite the country. However, Khushboo Sundar did not get a ticket for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Since then, she was running angry. Khushboo has been quite popular in the beautiful state. With the state elections in Tamil Nadu eight months away, BJP with its limited reach in the state would like to try Khushboo Sundar's star power. The party does not yet have any charismatic leader in the state.
