Lucknow : The CBI is investigating the Hathras incident these days. The CBI is busy collecting all the evidence related to this incident so that the real accused can be identified. The CBI engaged in the same investigation has got important clues from the house of one of the accused on Friday.
After searching the house of the accused Lovkush, the CBI team has found clothes with red marks on his house. The CBI suspects that there are spots of blood on the cloth, but the family of the accused says that there is no red paint on the fabric, but blood. Lavkush's brother Lalit told that the CBI has taken clothes from us, it is not Lavkush but our elder brother Ravi.
Our elder brothers do denting-painting. Her clothes were painted red, the CBI team felt that it was blood and she had taken those clothes with her. He said that these clothes belonged to our elder brother Ravi. Lalit told that the CBI team stayed in our house for two to two and a half hours and did not interrogate us.
On Thursday, the third day of investigation of the Hathras case, the CBI team reached the house of the four accused and questioned their family members. The team first reached the house of the accused Lovekush, where the team questioned the family of the accused for about three hours. Let us know that on Tuesday, the CBI team reached the scene of the incident and the funeral site with the deceased.
Forensic evidence was also collected during this period. CBI officers took the victim's elder brother along for questioning. Late in the evening, he was sent home under police protection. Discussions were also held with other family members. The team also questioned the policemen of the area's Chandpa police station.
Significantly, on September 14, a 19-year-old Dalit girl was gang-raped by four men in Bulgadhi village of Chandpa area of Hathras district. The accused broke the woman's backbone and also cut her tongue. The victim died on 29 September while undergoing treatment in Delhi. All the four accused in the case have been arrested. However, the police claim that the rape did not take place.
