According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, a total of 1,069 people died in the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of deaths has increased to 1,00,842. In the last 24 hours, 79,476 new cases have been reported. After which the total number of infected has increased to 64,73,545. At present, there are 9,44,996 active cases in the country which are undergoing treatment.
According to data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday, a total of 54,27,707 people have been cured of corona. The matter of the test in the country remained there, according to ICMR, so far, a total of 7,78,50,403 samples have been tested in the country. It tested 11,32,675 samples on 2 October.
It is noteworthy that in the month of September in India, 26.24 lakh cases of corona virus have been found, which is 41% of the total number of cases. In August last month, 19.87 lakh cases of corona virus were found. The number of cases currently active in India is 9.47 lakhs. Karnataka has become the third state after Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, where more than 6 lakh cases of corona virus have been reported.
Maharashtra has the most active cases in the country. Maharashtra continues to be the worst-hit state of Corona. So far, more than 13 lakh corona cases have been registered here. It is followed by Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. These five states have the most active cases. India has the second highest number of active cases in the world. Corona has been wreaking havoc in Uttar Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, 3947 corona have been infected. At the same time, 54 people have died. So far 5917 people have died in the state. Lucknow has the highest number of 718 deaths. In Kanpur, 671 died, while 279 in Prayagraj, 263 in Varanasi, 257 in Gorakhpur and 252 in Meerut died.
