New Delhi: Now you can also pay with a wristwatch. For the first time in India, a wrist watch with contactless payment feature has been launched by Titan , a company known for making superb watches. The company has partnered with the country's leading state-owned bank, State Bank of India, for this feature. Users will be able to make contactless payments on POS machines by tapping the Titan Pay powered watch.
Payment up to Rs 2,000 without entering PIN
This feature is currently only available to State Bank of India cardholders. Users will no longer need to enter a PIN when paying with Titan's new watches. The user will be able to pay up to Rs 2,000 without entering the PIN. On the other hand, for payments above this, a PIN will need to be entered.

2995. This new series of Tights has three watch variants for men and two wrist watch variants for women. The wrist watch that has been launched for men is priced at Rs 2,995, Rs 3,995 and Rs 5,995 respectively. The women's watch, on the other hand, comes with a price tag of Rs 3,895 and Rs 4,395. Works by NFC The feature
provided in the feature wrist watch works through a special secure certified near-field communication chip (NFC) that is embedded in the strap of the watch. The Titan Pay feature is powered by YONO SBI and will only work in places where POS (Point of Sale) machines will be available.
Notably, the currency of digitized digital payments has increased in the country over the last several years. In 3-4 years, all e-wallets, payments through internet banking are gaining more and more momentum.
