New Delhi: Triumph Motorcycle India is set to launch the new bike Triumph Rocket 3 GT in India on September 10 . The second bike of the same series Rocket 3 R is already being sold in India. The price is 18 lakh rupees. The new Rocket 3 GT will be a touring model. Which will have the same engine as the Rocket 3. However, there is a slight difference in the appearance of the two bikes.
Powerful 2500cc engine The
new bike has a 2500cc , inline 3 cylinder engine. Which generates 165 bhp of power and 221 Nm of torque. The special thing about the bike is that it has the largest engine given in any production motorcycle in the world and also has the highest peak torque. It has a 6 speed gearbox.
What will change?
The Rocket 3GT features standard heated grips with adjustable footpags and riders as well as an adjustable backrest for the Pillion. The seat height in the new model is kept 23mm lower. While its weight has been increased by 3 kg to 297 kg. The new variant also has a rear-mounted handlebar while the Rocket 3R gets a flat handlebar.
Features like car are
given four modes to improve driving. Which are Road, Rain, Sports and Rider. It also has ABS, Corning ABS and Traction Control features. At the same time, like expensive vehicles, it also offers features like cruise control and hill hold control.
What will be the cost?
Optional accessories include integrated GoPro control, turn-by-turn navigation, integrated phone and music operation, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The bike can cost around Rs 19 lakh in India and will be in direct competition with the Ducati Diavel 1260 S.
