Read, PM Modi's address on the inauguration of three major projects in Bihar

New Delhi:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated three major petroleum sector projects in Bihar. He said that I have to share a sad news with you at the beginning of the program. Mr. Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, the veteran leader of Bihar, he is no longer with us. I bow to them. The departure of Raghuvansh Babu created a void in the politics of Bihar and the country. A person connected with land, a person who understands poverty, spent his entire life in the struggle of Bihar. The ideology he grew up in, he tried to live it throughout his life.

I was closely acquainted with him when I worked as an activist of the organization of the Bharatiya Janata Party. In many TV debates, we used to debate a lot. Later he was in the Union Cabinet in UP, I as Chief Minister of Gujarat also kept in constant touch with him by taking up development works. Now they were also in discussion for the last three-four days. I was also concerned about his health. Used to take information continuously. And I used to think that after recovering very soon, he would return to the service of Bihar, but a churn was going on within him.

It was no longer possible for him to walk with the ideals that he had taken, and with whom he had gone, and the mind was completely in conflict. And three or four days ago, he also expressed his feeling by writing a letter. But at the same time there was a lot of concern for the development of his area within, so he sent a list of his development works to the Chief Minister of Bihar. The concern of the people of Bihar, the development of Bihar, appears in that letter.

I would definitely urge Nitish ji that you and we should try our best to fulfill the feelings that Raghuvansh Prasad has revealed in his last letter, because he wrote the same things for development as a matter of course. I once again pay homage to Mr. Raghuvansh Singh Prasad ji at the beginning of the program today, I bow to him.

Governor of Bihar Mr. Fagu Chauhan, Chief Minister of Bihar, Mr. Nitish Kumar, my colleague in the Union Cabinet Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Giriraj Singh, RK Singh, Ashwini Kumar Chaubey, Nityanand Rai, of Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi ji, other MPs and MLAs, Gan and my dear brothers and sisters connected through technology!

Greetings to all of us, today's events are held in the land of the martyr Aru the brave. The J-J scheme was inaugurated today; Okro benefits are also available in the larger parts of eastern India. Today, the JK inauguration of Rs. 900 crores was launched by Aryu Shilanyas Kylo Gayle Chai, LPG Pipeline in Okra, Du Ta Bada bottling plant. All this facility was taken, for the development of all these projects, many congratulations to the people of Bihar.

Peers, in our scriptures said - power Muln Swatntryamr, labor Muln Vabvm.

That is, strength is the source of freedom and labor power is the basis of progress of any nation. There is neither a shortage of power in eastern India, including Bihar, nor has nature lacked resources here. Despite this, Bihar and East India remained behind for decades in terms of development. Many of the reasons for this were political, economic, and priorities.

Because of these conditions, infrastructure projects in eastern India or Bihar have always suffered endless delays. There was a time when road connectivity, rail connectivity, air connectivity, internet connectivity, all these were not in the priorities. What is there for the pedestrians, that is, there was a problem in thinking.

In such a situation, the gas based industry and petro-connectivity could not be imagined in the olden times in Bihar. Due to being a landlocked state, those resources related to petroleum and gas were not available in Bihar like in the states adjacent to the sea. Hence the development of gas based industries was a major challenge in Bihar.

Friends, due to this gas pipeline, now in Bihar itself, big plants of filling cylinders are being installed. Two new bottling plants have been launched today in Banka and Champaran. Both these plants have the capacity to fill more than 125 million cylinders every year. These plants will facilitate your districts of Banka, Bhagalpur, Jamui, Araria, Kishanganj, Katihar, East Champaran, West Champaran, Muzaffarpur, Siwan, Gopalganj and Sitamarhi in Bihar.

These plants will meet the LPG requirements of Godda, Deoghar, Dumka, Sahibganj, Pakur districts and some areas of Uttar Pradesh in Jharkhand. From the laying of this gas pipeline to the new industries which are getting energy from it, Bihar is creating thousands of new jobs and there is also a possibility for many more jobs.

Friends, There was a time when LPG gas connections across the country and in Bihar were a sign of affluent people. People had to make recommendations for each gas connection… There used to be queues outside the MP's house. The one who used to have gas, he was believed to be from a very big family. Nobody asked those who were marginalized in the society, were suffering, deprived, backward, were backward. Their sufferings were also ignored by their suffering.

But now in Bihar this concept has changed. Through the Ujjwala scheme, about 1.25 billion poor families of Bihar have been given free gas connection. The gas connection at home has changed the lives of crores of poor people in Bihar. Now they are putting their power not in wooden arrangements for cooking, but in advancing themselves.

Colleagues, some people in Bihar were sometimes say will read what the youth of Bihar-writing, make them work in the field. Such thinking made a lot of difference with the talented youth of Bihar. Due to this thinking, not much work was done to open large educational institutions in Bihar. As a result, the youth of Bihar were forced to go out to study, to work.

Friends, working in the field, farming is a lot of hard work and pride, but do not give other opportunities to the youth, nor make such arrangements, it was also not right. Today, big centers of education are opening in Bihar. Now the number of agricultural colleges, medical colleges, engineering colleges is increasing. Now IIT, IIM, IIIT in the state are helping to make the dreams of the youth of Bihar soar.

During the rule of Nitish ji, two large universities, one IIT, one IIM, one NIFT, one National Law Institute in Bihar have opened many big institutions. Due to Nitish's efforts, today the number of polytechnic institutions in Bihar has also more than tripled.

Start up India, Mudra Yojana, such schemes have provided the necessary amount of self-employment to the youth of Bihar. It is also the endeavor of the government that through skill centers at the district level, the youth of Bihar can be trained to increase skills.

Friends , what was the power situation in Bihar is also well known. Even if electricity came in the villages for two or three hours, it was considered a lot. People living in the city also did not get electricity for more than 8-10 hours. Today, in Bihar's villages, the availability of electricity in cities is more than ever.

The National Infrastructure Pipeline Project worth more than Rs 100 lakh crore is also going to help in increasing economic activity. We all have to keep working fast to make Bihar, Eastern India an important center of development, confidence. With this belief, many congratulations again to the entire Bihar for the facilities worth hundreds of crores. Especially, the life of mothers and sisters is going to be easy, so I congratulate them a lot.

Remember, the corona infection is still present among us. And that's why I say again and again - no laxity unless there is medicine! Listen again, no laxity unless there is medicine.

Therefore, the distance of two gazes, regular cleaning of hands with soap, prohibition of spitting here and face masks, we have to follow these essential things ourselves and remind others as well.

If you remain alert, Bihar will be healthy, the country will be healthy. I once again wish all of you with this many gifts, this opportunity for new energy in the development journey of Bihar… Many best wishes to you.

Thanks a lot !
