New Delhi: On the first day of the monsoon session, MP and actor Ravi Kishan from Gorakhpur raised the issue of increasing use and smuggling of drugs in the country and Bollywood in Parliament. On the issue on Tuesday, Samajwadi Party MP and Actress Jaya Bachchan took a dig at Ravi Kishan and said that some people make holes in the plate on which they eat.
Reacting to Jaya Bachchan's statement, Ravi Kishan said, "I thought Jaya ji would support what I said." Not everyone takes drugs in the industry, but some people are part of the plan to destroy the world's biggest film industry. When I and Jaya came in the industry, there was no such situation but now we need to save the industry.
He said, Jaya Bachchan ji did not hear my complete statement. I highly respect the Bachchan family and I hope she will join the campaign against drugs. Ravi Kishan further said, I do not pierce the plate I made myself. I revived the Bhojpuri film industry.
I love my film industry and this industry has given me a lot of work and respect. Ravi said that when the talk of drugs has started in Bollywood, it should be abolished completely. Modi ji is running a cleanliness campaign in the country and some people who are spreading this poison in Bollywood should be eradicated.
He also told the conspiracy of the neighboring country behind this. There was talk of Bollywood's drugs nexus. I am surprised by Jaya Bachchan's statement. Let us tell you that Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan had expressed concern over the rhetoric about the film industry in the drugs case. Jaya Bachchan had said without taking any name, people who earned a name from the film industry are calling it a gutter. I do not agree with this at all.
