Railways will run 120 special trains on the occasion of Dussehra-Diwali and Chhath

 : In view of the main festivals coming up in the country, Indian Railways is starting a plan to run special trains. 
A series of festivals such as Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath are scheduled to begin in the coming months. On these occasions, the number of passengers in the country increases, due to which there is heavy congestion in trains.

But in view of the Corona epidemic prevailing in the country these days, Indian Railways is preparing to run festive special trains to reduce congestion and provide convenient travel to passengers. In most special trains, the waiting list has crossed 100. Therefore, Indian Railways has prepared to run more new trains.

According to sources, the Railways is preparing a plan to run 120 festive special trains, but the state governments of Maharashtra and West Bengal have not yet given approval for their state due to the Corona epidemic. Currently, Indian Railways plans to run 120 festive special trains.

Trains have a long waiting list. There is a huge demand for Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath in the country. The Railways will run 120 special trains to meet the festive demand. Special trains will run on Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Delhi routes. At present, talks are on with the state government of Maharashtra and West Bengal. New SOP will be released for festive special trains.

Home Ministry is expected to approve soon. Indian Railways will run around 100 new special trains under Unlock 4 released in the country. For this, discussions are on with railway states. After getting the green signal from the Ministry of Home Affairs, several special trains will be run. Currently, Railways are running 230 express trains in the name of special trains, including 30 of the country's capital.
