New Delhi: Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said on the occasion of Hindi Day that we should be proud of our linguistic diversity. Naidu said that for this, good text books have to be made available in Hindi and other Indian languages and publishers will also have an important role in this. We must learn some idioms, words or counting of other Indian languages. Also, he advised that in Hindi also, students should be introduced to literature in other Indian languages and eminent litterateurs and other linguistic areas should be introduced to Hindi writers, their works.
He stressed that it will be easy to learn Hindi and other Indian languages because the rites and thoughts of the nation are the same. On this occasion, the Vice President asked the students to respect their mother tongue and use it in everyday work. Read the literature of Hindi and the languages of the country, write in it.
