New Delhi: The Finance Ministry has clarified the rumor that government jobs are banned. The ministry said in a statement that the Indian government has not imposed any restrictions on filling any post. General recruitments through government agencies like UPSC, RLV Recruitment Board will continue as before. The ministry also said that the circular issued by the ministry on September 4, 2020 relates to the internal process for creation of posts. This in no way affects the tide and does not even cancel it.
Rumors of a ban on flying jobs The
finance ministry on Friday asked ministries and departments to reduce unnecessary work in anticipation of a sharp increase in the fiscal deficit during the current financial year. It advised ministries to appoint advisers, cut plans and stop using imported paper for publication. Then came the rumor that government jobs had been banned.
What was said in the circular?
"Given the current fiscal situation and the pressure on government resources, there is a need to reduce and rationalize unnecessary expenditure," the finance ministry said in a circular. So that resources can be secured for priority costs.
Rahul Gandhi was the target
With this news, Rahul Gandhi also targeted the Modi government. He tweeted that the Modi government's idea is less government and more privatization. He further wrote that Kovid is just an excuse, to free government offices from permanent staff, to steal the future of the youth, to make friends.
