New age entrepreneurs are going to change the fate of India: Piyush Goyal

Union Minister for Commerce and Industry and Railways Piyush Goyal has said that the new era ideas will help us prepare India to contribute on a large scale to global supply chains.
At the launch of 'Future Business Group of India', he said that the entrepreneurs of the new age are going to change the fate of India.

He said that we need to create a platform with like-minded countries and trusted partners to promote new-age businesses in India. He said that India can connect with other countries and build a platform with trusted partners to promote new businesses.

Union Minister Goyal said that it is the youth who are changing the fortunes of India, creating jobs and bringing prosperity to the people. He said that our country has a very good start-up environment in India. It is suitable for the development of our entrepreneurs, recognizing our capabilities.

There are some views of our youth which are truly revolutionary. He suggested that colleges should consider starting entrepreneurship or other such courses around today's new age businesses. He said that to find out what is going on in the mind of the young man, we can look at more vocational training and evaluation process.

Talking about the improvement in India's ranking from 52 to 48 in the Global Innovation Index, Goyal said that let us all work together to make India a true innovation hub. He said that we have a very good startup environment. I have no doubt that the spirit of the industry will encourage the government to move forward with new ideas and processes to make it easier and easier to do business in India. He said that no power on earth can stop us from being successful.

Talking about innovation in railways, Mr. Goyal said that in the last six years our Indian manufacturing factories have not only stopped making old coaches but, we are now making better LHB coaches. As a result, not a single railway passenger has died due to a railway accident in the last 17 months.

Goyal said that the real startup entrepreneur with ideas is our Prime Minister. Goyal said that while discussing the need for fencing along railway tracks for high-speed trains, Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested bidding for solar projects along railway tracks, which would allow low-cost electricity, and private investment. It will give a boost, making the railway track safe and the railway also environment friendly.

Goyal asked senior businessmen to act as mentors not only to their families or businesses but also to young entrepreneurs of the new age. He said that he appealed to senior traders to give their valuable time for this. This will actually encourage the youth.
