New Delhi: There are many shows ranging from epic tales to new thrilling journeys, real-life events that are set to release on the OTT platform in the festive season.
Due to the theater closure due to the Covid crisis, people are entertaining themselves with the OTT platform. As such, IANS has listed some shows which are under discussion.
Mizarpur 2
Its second season is finally coming. Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Rasika Duggal and Shweta Tripathi, this season is expected to show more bloodshed. The show will air on Amazon Prime Video on October 23.
Crackdown
The detective thriller features director Apoorva Lakhia making a digital debut and stars Saqib Salim, Iqbal Khan, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Valucha De Sousa, Rajesh Tailang and Ankur Bhatia. The series will be released on 23 September on Voot Select.
The Family Men 2
In the second chapter of this popular series by Manoj Bajpayee, Southern star Samantha Akkineni will be seen in the new cast. The official release date of Season 2 of The Family Man is yet to be announced on Amazon Prime Video.
dance of fury
Saif, who made his digital debut through Sacred Games, is now making a comeback with director Ali Abbas Zafar's show Tandava. It is based on the dark side of Indian politics. The show also stars Sunil Grover, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayub and Sarah Jane Dias. The date for the show to be released on Amazon Prime Video is yet to be announced.
Schem 1992 The story of Harshad Mehta
This series by filmmaker Hansal Mehta will tell the story of one of the biggest financial scandals of the Indian stock market. It is based on the book The Scam by Debashish Basu and Sucheta Dalal. It will come on Sony Live, its release date has not been announced.
A suitable boy
Produced by Meera Nair on Vikram Seth's novel A Suitable Boy, the show features Tabu, Ishaan Khattar and debutant Tanya Maniktala. This series has released applause internationally. Now it will stream on Netflix for Indian viewers soon.
Bombay Begums
Bombay Begams is directed by Alankrita Srivastava and Borneela Chatterjee. It stars Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Amrita Subhash, Plabita Borthakur, and Aaradhya Anand. Its dates for release on Netflix are yet to be confirmed.
Mumbai Diaries 26/11
The series, starring Konkona Sen Sharma and Mohit Raina, is based on the November 26, 2008 terror attack at Cama Hospital. Directed by Nikhil Advani, the series has also not confirmed the release date on Amazon Prime Video.
Gormint
The political satire features Amol Palekar, Manav Kaul, Shikha Talsania and Girish Kulkarni. Its dates for the Amazon Prime show are yet to be announced.
