It is auspicious to buy new clothes, vehicles, jewellery

These days, the time for Pitrupaksha or Shradh is going on.
At such a time, there is a belief in people that neither these days should do any auspicious work and neither should buy new clothes, cart or jewelry in the house. They are considered inauspicious. Let us tell you that all these beliefs are absolutely wrong, they are immoral, they are not even mentioned in any Hindu religious scriptures.

What is auspicious in Pitrupaksha and is it inauspicious- In

the Pitru Paksha lasting for 16 days, only Manglik work such as marriage, Upanayana rites, foundation worship, Mundan, house entry etc. are said to be inauspicious these days. According to the scriptures, when ancestors come to bless their family members, they are happy to see any new thing.

During the Pitru Paksha, one should avoid criminal, dishonorable and any wrongdoing. During this time, one should not think wrong about anyone. If at this time we do wrong things, then fathers feel bad.

Many people believe that buying any new item on the ancestral side becomes a part of the phantom in it, which is inauspicious. At the same time some people believe that in this time we should serve the fathers, do not buy anything new, otherwise the fathers will be considered bad. So let us tell you that this assumption is completely wrong. All these things have no basis.

There is also a mention in the Mahabharata regarding the Pitru Paksha. In the Garuda Purana, Lord Vishnu told Garuda Dev the importance of Pitru Paksha. In the discipline festival of Mahabharata, the dialogues of Bhishma Pitamah and Yudhishthira are told. In this festival, Bhishma Pitamah told Yudhishthira that Atri Muni had first given knowledge of Shraddha to Maharishi Nimi.

After this, Nimi Rishi performed Shraddha and after him other sages also started Shraddha Karma. In the Pitru Paksha, along with the ancestors, Agnidev also accepts food. In this regard, it is believed that the Pitar Devta gets satisfied soon after having food with Agnidev. That is why during incense-meditation in the Pitra Paksha, food is offered to the ancestors on the burning condes.
