IPL 2020: Royal Challengers Bangalore Beat Mumbai Indians In Super Over

Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Mumbai Indians in the Super Over in a thrilling match on Monday in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Bangalore, batting first, scored a mammoth score of 201 runs, losing three wickets in 20 overs. Mumbai also managed to score so many runs after losing five wickets after playing the entire over.

The match went to a super over where Mumbai scored seven runs. Bangalore scored eight runs to win the match. Mumbai lost in the Super Over in the IPL for the first time.

Ishan Kishan (99 runs, 58 balls, 2 fours and 9 sixes) and Karen Pollard (unbeaten 60 runs, 24 balls, 5 sixes and 3 fours) helped Mumbai reach the scoreless score for Mumbai. Had given. In the last over, the team needed 19 runs to win. Kishan hit two sixes in this over, but was dismissed one run before the century. Mumbai needed five runs off the last ball. Pollard smashed the match to a super over.

Earlier, Bangalore now needed early breakthroughs in bowling after scoring a big score. Rohit Sharma's wicket was very important for him. Washington Sundar, who brought the second over, sent Rohit (8) to the pavilion and gave Bangalore that necessary wicket.

Isuru Udana, who landed in this match in place of Dale Steyn, took his first IPL wicket by dismissing Suryakumar Yadav (0). Yuzvendra Chahal opened his account by dismissing Quinton de Kock (14) and Bangalore's score was 39/3.

In 10 overs, Mumbai had scored 63 runs losing three wickets. From here he needed 139 runs from 60 balls to win.

The young batsman Kishan was running the scoreboard fast from one end. He was the one who carried the ship of Mumbai. From the other end, he did not get the support of Hardik Pandya (15), who was dismissed by leg-spinner Adam Jampa.

Pollard arrives on the field after Hardik's departure. Bangalore needed to stop Kishan and Pollard, but both of them did not let that happen and shared a 119-run partnership for the fifth wicket.

In the last five overs, Mumbai needed 90 runs to win. Mumbai scored 10 runs in the 16th over. In the 17th over, Pawan Negi dropped Pollard's catch. On the last ball of the same over, Yuzvendra Chahal also gave up Pollard's catch. In this over of Adam Zampa, Pollard scored 27 runs including three sixes and a four.

In the last two overs Mumbai needed 31 runs to win and 19 runs were to be scored in the last over. Mumbai were able to score 18 runs, so the match went to super over.

Earlier, the Bangalore batsmen performed brilliantly against Mumbai. Aaron Finch, Devdutt Padikal and AB de Villiers, all three scored half-centuries and in the end Shivam Dubey gave a huge score to the team's best innings.

In this match Finch did not repeat his previous two match deficiencies. He also got a good start and this time he was also successful in crossing the 50 mark.

The pedal supported him. Both had put the team score of 59 in the power play and Finch scored more runs in it. Finch (52 runs, 35 balls, 7 fours, 1 six) completed his first half-century of the season on the third ball of the eighth over.

Trent Bolt catches him on the last ball of the 9th over at the hands of Pollard. Captain Virat Kohli (3) could not score runs in this match also. His catch was caught by Rahul Chahar off Rahul Chahar.

The pair of Pollard and Bolt showed Paddikal the path to the pavilion.

De Villiers stood in the end and the threat was huge for Mumbai. De Villiers finally showed his stormy style and completed his fifty runs. In the last, Dubey also showed aggressive style.

In the last three overs, these two together scored 36 runs and gave the team a huge score.
