Kolkata: The process of confrontation between Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Governor Jagdeep Dhankar continues. Once again Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has targeted CM Mamta Banerjee. This time the Governor has slammed the Chief Minister for the Kisan Samman Nidhi. He said that the farmers of Bengal have been deprived.
Governor Jagdeep Dhankar made several tweets one after the other on Tuesday morning. He wrote that 70 lakh farmers in West Bengal are deprived of benefits of Rs 8,400 crore due to not participating in the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi. 12,000 rupees would go to the bank account of the farmers. But they did not get it.
After this, Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar targeted the Chief Minister of the state, Mamta Banerjee. He said that the Chief Minister's crying cry of crocodile cannot relieve the pain of farmers.
According to the governor, farmers in all parts of the country, except Bengal, have benefited immensely from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Nidhi project. Only the farmers of this state are in trouble. Along with this, he also said that he hoped that the Chief Minister would take immediate steps in the interest of farmers.
It is noteworthy that there has been a long-standing confrontation between the state government and the governor. This is not the first time the governor has surrounded the state government. Governor Jagdeep Dhankar has surrounded the state government on various issues.
It may be noted that recently, Governor Dhankhar had said that Bengal is becoming a stronghold of bomb making. In such a situation, the top leadership of the police department cannot escape the responsibilities of deteriorating law and order in the state. On Saturday, Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar had tweeted that CM Mamata's top police officers work on political agenda.
He said that he does not miss out on targeting opposition parties. In such a situation, people who see the police department cannot escape the responsibility of deteriorating law and order in the state. Dhankhar wrote that the state is becoming a stronghold of bomb making day by day. Compromising democracy is very dangerous for citizens.
