Chennai: The year 2020 has proved to be the Black Year for the entertainment world. This year, many famous stars left the world and became dry. It is reported that the famous singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, who was famous for his singing from the 60s to the 90s, died at 1.45 pm on Friday afternoon due to a corona infection.
He was 74 years old. Balasubrahmanyam was admitted to the hospital on August 5 after being found corona positive. Since then, he was undergoing treatment at MGM Healthcare. On 13 September his condition had worsened, after which he had to put ventilator support. SP Balasubramaniam's condition had worsened in the last 24 hours.
He was placed on ACMO and other essential life support. On hearing the news of his demise, there has been a wave of mourning in the Bollywood industry. All are remembering him and tweeting and paying tribute. Director of South films Venkat Prabhu has tweeted about SP Bala. He has tweeted and told the time of his death.
Apart from this, other South actors, producers are also tweeting about Balasubramanian. Balasubramanian, who started his singing career in the 60s, has sung many songs so far and has gained a place in the hearts of fans. SP Balasubrahmanyam is said to have sung more than 40,000 songs in a total of 16 languages so far and has been awarded the National Award as Best Singer 6 times for four languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi songs.
He has also been awarded the Padma Shri in 2001 and the Padma Bhushan in 2011 by the Government of India. SP Bala lent his voice from Kamal Haasan of South Industry to Salman Khan of Bollywood. Not only this, he not only earned himself a name by singing a playbuch for Salman Khan but also made Salman a favorite of the people.
All the songs of Salman Khan were sung by SP Balasubrahmanyam in the 1989 Salman Khan-Bhagyashree starrer superhit film Maine Pyaar Kiya which proved to be superhit. He then sang all the songs in the early days of Salman's career and was also known as the voice of Salman Khan for many years. Even after this. P. Balasubrahmanyam lent his voice to various stars in several Hindi films.
