SRINAGAR continues Indian soldiers and encounter between militants in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police and security personnel are taking action in the fear of hiding terrorists in Marwal area of Pulwama. Two to three terrorists are feared hidden in the valley.
On the basis of information about the hiding of the terrorists, a search operation was carried out by the joint team of army and police, after which the encounter between the terrorists and the security forces started. The encounter is going on in the Marwal area of Pulwama in the early hours of Tuesday. A police officer from Kashmir zone said that the police and security forces have taken up the front.
According to information received from sources, Jammu and Kashmir Police informed 12 September that a person was arrested in Avantipora area of Pulwama district for having links with Ansar Gajwa-Tul-Hind terrorist organization. Police arrested the suspect Adil Ahmed Hazam of Tral area.
He used to provide accommodation, logistics and all other facilities to the AGH militants in the Tral region such as transporting arms and ammunition from one place to another. Several illegal weapons were seized from him. Terrorists have allies, known as Overground Workers.
They act as spies for terrorist organizations. Through these, arrangements are made to transport the place of living of terrorists from one place to another. They keep an eye on the movements of the security forces and alert the terrorists to avoid their siege and search operation. Explain that Pulwama is the area of Jammu and Kashmir where there have always been terrorist attacks.
