New Delhi: Today is the 104th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, President of Bharatiya Jana Sangh. On this occasion, PM Narendra Modi addressed BJP workers. PM Narendra Modi took part in the birth anniversary of Deendayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana through video conferencing on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
BJP National President JP Nadda and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also attended the event. PM Narendra Modi said that the contribution of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay to make India better as a country and society has inspired generations. The path he has shown to every BJP worker gives us confidence.
This birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayalji is even more relevant because the reformist decisions taken by the government in recent times had the impression of the philosophy shown by him. At the time when there was a thrust in adopting the foreign model for the creation of Azad India, Deendayalji continued to rely on the efforts of the people of India, on the soil of India, to build modern India.
To give 21st century India a new height on the world stage, to improve the lives of more than 130 crore Indians, whatever is happening today, there is a great blessing of great personalities like Deen Dayal Ji. There are few people among us today who have seen, heard or worked with Deendayalji.
His remembrance, his path, his vision, his life every moment makes us holy, inspires, fills us with energy. I extend my best wishes to the BJP workers, who are spread across the country, on the birth anniversary of revered Deendayal Upadhyay. May we move forward with full dedication on the path that they have shown us.
BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda on Friday paid homage to Jana Sangh founder Pandit Deendayal on his birth anniversary, saying his unified humanism and progressive vision of Antyodaya are the foundation of organizational work and guide every worker.
