Abu Dhabi, 20 September (IANS). IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Dwyane Bravo may also be out of the team's second match in the 13th season due to injury.
Bravo did not even play in the inaugural match of the league against defending champions Mumbai Indians due to injury. Chennai won the match by five wickets.
As reported by Cricbuzz, Bravo was hurt during the CPL, from which he is yet to fully recover. Chennai Super Kings head coach Steven Fleming has said that Bravo will not be able to play in the next match due to injury.
In the first match of IPL 13, Chennai Super Kings included Sam Kurain as an all-rounder in place of Bravo, who took one wicket for 28 runs and also scored 18 runs from six balls.
Bravo was injured, Fleming said, so he would not play the first two games. In his place, Sam Curran has performed brilliantly.
Chennai Super Kings will now play their next match against Rajasthan Royals in Sharjah on 22 September.
