Corona virus: recovery rate in India crosses 83 percent

 : The number of corona patients recovering in India is increasing steadily. During the last 24 hours, the number of recovery cases has been reported higher than the confirmed new cases. With this, India's recovery rate has crossed 83 percent.

84,428 recoveries have been recorded in the country during the last 24 hours while 80,472 new cases have been reported. With this, the total recovery cases have gone up to 51,87,826. Most of the new cases of recovery have been reported from ten states Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Odisha, Kerala, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh.

19,212 patients have been cured in Maharashtra. Along with this, this state remains at the top in terms of recovery. Thousands of patients have recovered in both Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

The difference between active and recovery cases is widening as more patients recover. Recovery cases are higher compared to active cases (9,40,441). Recovery cases are many times higher than active cases.

This ensures that the recovery rate is continuously increasing. At present only 15 percent of the total active cases in the country are active and it is continuously declining. A total of 80,472 new cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra continues to top the list of new cases. More than 14 thousand cases were reported in Maharashtra. 430 infected people died in the last 24 hours. 19,212 corona infected were sent home from the hospital after being found healthy after treatment.

The total number of infected patients in the state has reached 13,66,129 of which 36,181 have died. A total of 10,69,159 patients have gone home from the hospital so far. There are 2,60,363 patients who are being treated at various Kovid hospitals.
