Corona virus: more than 1 lakh patients recorded in 24 hours recover in India

New Delhi: While the number of corona patients is increasing in India, there is a record increase in the number of patients recovering. Achieving an unprecedented success, India has set a record of most patients recovering in a day. 1 lakh (1,01,468) patients were cured in the last 24 hours in the country. In another historical achievement, the number of patients getting well in India has been steadily increasing for the last four days.

With this, the total number of people getting rid of Kovid infection has been about 45 lakhs (44,97,867). As a result, the recovery rate of patients in the country has reached 80.86 percent. Ten percent of the new cases to be cured are from ten states and union territories.

These are Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Delhi, Kerala, West Bengal and Punjab. Maharashtra ranks first with more than 32,000 (31.5 percent) newly cured patients. More than 10,000 patients have recovered in Andhra Pradesh.

The historical achievement of the increasing rate and number of patients recovering has made India reach the top position globally. Tests, tracks and treats have proved very effective in the country. As a result, the rate of recovery from Kovid in the country is continuously increasing. Effective clinical management and treatment protocols issued by the central government have been periodically updated with the emergence of new medical and scientific experiences.

According to data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 74,903 new corona cases have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours. As of the morning of 22 September, the total corona virus cases have crossed 5.5 million. With this, the total number of infections in the country has been 55,62,483. There have been 1,053 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 88,935.

The total number of cured patients so far is 44,97,867. The recovery rate in the country has come down to 80.86 percent. Active patients are 17.54 percent i.e. 9,75,681. Death rate is 1.59 percent and positivity rate is 8.02 percent. As of September 21, a total of 63 million samples of corona virus have been tested, out of which 9 lakh 33 thousand samples were tested yesterday.
