New Delhi:
The pace of Corona continues across the country. The number of corona infections in the country has now crossed 61 million. According to the latest data released by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, 70,589 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours and 776 people have died.

With this, the total number of infected has increased to 61,45,292. At the same time, the total number of dead has been 96,318. A total of 9,47,576 cases are currently active in the country, which are undergoing treatment. At the same time, 51,01,398 people have been discharged from the hospital after treatment so far. According to ICMR, as of September 28, a total of 7,31,10,041 of the corona virus has gone, of which 11,42,811 were tested yesterday.

So far, 13,51,153 cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra, the country most affected by Corona virus. Maharashtra ranks first among the corona affected states. There are 2,65,033 cases of corona active in the state. So far 10,49,947 people have been discharged and 35,751 people have died.

Andhra Pradesh ranks second among Corona-affected states. So far, 6,81,161 cases of corona have been reported in Andhra Pradesh. There are 63,116 active cases in the state and 6,12,300 people have been discharged from hospital after treatment. So far 5,745 people have died.

The most relief thing for India is that more patients are being cured in the country than new cases in the last several days. While 70,589 new corona cases have been registered in the last 24 hours in the country, 84,877 patients have recovered from corona. For the last 26 days, more than a thousand people were dying every day from the corona. For the first time in these days, there have been less than thousand deaths today.

It is a matter of relief for India that there is a steady decline in the death rate and active case rate. The death rate has dropped to 1.57 percent. Apart from this, the rate of active cases undergoing treatment has also come down to 16 percent. With this, the recovery rate is 83 percent.
