In the second phase, elections to 94 seats, there will be 42 thousand polling stations. In the third phase, elections to 78 seats, 33.5 thousand polling stations will be held. Explain that there are a total of 7 crore 79 lakh voters in Bihar. There are 3 crore 39 lakh women voters in it. The total number of seats is 243. 38 seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes and 2 seats for Scheduled Tribes.
In the first phase, elections will be held in Sheikhpura, Jamui, Khagaria, Begusarai, Purnia, Araria, Kishanganj, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Lakhisarai, and Katihar districts. In the second phase, elections will be held in the districts of Madhubani, Samastipur, Saharsa, Supaul, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, West Champaran, East Champaran, Vaishali, Darbhanga, Madhepura districts of North Bihar. In the third phase, elections will be held in Bodh Gaya, Jehanabad, Arwal, Nawada, Aurangabad, Kaimur and Rohtas, Patna including Buxar, Saran, Bhojpur, Nalanda, Gopalganj and Siwan.
This time the Election Commission has extended the deadline for casting votes. That is, one hour more time has been kept for voting in this election. Votingh will be held from 7 am to 6 pm. But this will not happen in Naxalite affected areas. Only five people will be able to go to the campaign.
This time the nomination and affidavit will also be filled online, the deposit can also be submitted online. Only two people will be present with the candidate at the time of nomination. No one will be allowed to shake hands during the campaign.
