Alexa will now speak in many Indian languages: Amazon India

 

New Delhi:  Alexa has completed one year in Hindi, so the company hopes that it will be made available in many more local languages ​​in the coming time.

Currently, Alexa is available in two languages, Hindi and English.

Punish Kumar, country head for Alexa at Amazon India, told IANS, "I can't describe the future as accurately, but I can say that Alexa is getting smarter day by day." We are constantly working hard to increase his knowledge.

He adds, "We encourage more and more Indian consumers to try Cleo Skill and teach Alexa about the new Indian languages."

Cleo is a language learning skill in which customers can give Alexa training by answering Alexa in Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Bengali, Telugu, Gujarati and other languages.

The more customers use Cleo Skill, the more the company will work on Alexa's language recognition and its Natural Language Processing (NLP) to prepare its Smart Assistant to speak in other languages ​​to its other devices. So it is effective in other third party devices as well.
