New Delhi: In many states of the country, the farmers bill is being strongly opposed. BJP opponents and farmers believe that the central government has passed the bills in the Rajya Sabha and killed the rights of farmers across the country. Now the dispute of farmer organizations against agricultural bills is increasing.
Around 250 small and big farmers' organizations across the country have prepared to make the nationwide bandh of September 25 successful. According to farmer leaders, national highways and rail routes can be blocked across the country. If the central government takes any step like stopping them or using force on farmers, then the Center and the concerned state government will have to bear the brunt of it.
Sardar VM Singh, convenor of the All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC), the country's big farmers' organization, has said that earlier some people had spread the news in the media that this movement is from three to four states. Now on September 25, it will be known that every state of the country is standing with the farmers.
There will be mass protests in almost all states. This shutdown of farmers will be successful. AIKSCC convenor VM Singh, while announcing the Bharat Bandh on September 25, said, "Government has already cheated us farmers in the name of APMC and MSP." The farmers had promised to give C-2 in the cost of cultivation, they did not even give it to the farmers and now they want to force the farmers of the country to sell it to the corporate by bringing these three bills.
So we will not let this happen and now with the closure of India on 25th September, we will raise the voice of farmers further. Let me tell you that two out of three farmer bills have already been passed in Rajya Sabha. On Sunday, 20 September, the Rajya Sabha, the Agricultural Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill and the Farmers' (Empowerment and Protection) Price Assurance and Agreements Bill on Agricultural Services were passed in the upper house of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha.
As soon as the Agriculture Bill was passed, there was a lot of uproar in Parliament by MPs of opposition political parties. The Deputy Speaker has also suspended 8 MPs who created a ruckus in the House, following which the deadlock in the House has increased. After passing in the Rajya Sabha, the bills will be sent to the President and they are stamped, they will be implemented as a law.
