African swine flu spreading in Assam raises concern

 These days, the global epidemic corona virus has caused huge devastation. Nearly 90 thousand cases of corona virus are being reported every day. Amidst all this, the concern of the Central Government has increased due to the knocking of another disease in Assam. The government has ordered 12,000 pigs to be killed in areas affected by the African swine flu in Assam.

The state government, in an order issued for the prevention of disease, has said that the authorities should arrange for adequate compensation to the owners of such animals. According to the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, so far more than 18 thousand pigs have been killed in Assam due to swine flu.

A statement issued by the state government said that 14 districts of the state have been affected by swine flu. Let us tell you that the African swine flu was first reported in Assam in February this year. The state government says that the infection has spread from six districts to three more districts Majuli, Golaghat and Kamrup Metropolitan.

In the initial phase, the transition occurred in six districts of the state Dibrugarh, Sivasagar, Jorhat, Dhemaji, Lakhimpur and Biswanath district. In order to prevent swine flu infection between the corona period now in Assam, the government has directed to implement these orders at the official level as soon as possible.

It is the whole effort of the government that if we get rid of this disease as soon as possible, it will be very difficult. On one hand, the country is devastated by such a corona virus, from above this flu has made it even more difficult.
